Velvet Carpet
Velvet carpets have a soft even pile to give supreme under foot comfort and are produced in a wide range of pure colours from glowing reds to cool blues, which makes them easy to match with contemporary wallpapers, paints and fabrics. A smooth velvet pile can offer a lovely lustre effect, associated with top grade carpets, and are similar to saxonies type products in character.
There is a degree of movement in the pile of this product which is known as shading. This highlights marks made by footprints and hoovers, when hoovered it can look like a freshly mown lawn with its stripping effect. If this is unacceptable to you then you would be happier with a Loop or Twist pile carpet. This Velvet product can be offered in a Wool Rich mix or a man made option.
